How does Meetlo work?
Meetlo matches you with 3 other designers based on your preferences (language, region, discipline). Every week, you join a 1-hour Google Meet session with your group to exchange ideas and get feedback.
Is Meetlo free?
Yes! Meetlo is free to use. We show small, non-intrusive ads to free users. You can remove ads by making a one-time donation.
How are groups matched?
Our matching algorithm considers your language preferences, timezone/region, design discipline, and credit score. We aim to create diverse yet compatible groups.
What is the credit score?
Your credit score starts at 100 and reflects your reliability. Attending meetups increases your score, while no-shows decrease it. Higher scores get priority in matching.
What if I can't attend a scheduled meetup?
Life happens! But repeated no-shows will lower your credit score. If you know you can't attend, please update your availability in advance.
Who provides the Google Meet link?
The randomly selected host for each meetup provides the Google Meet link. If you're the host, you'll be notified and asked to create a meeting.
What design disciplines are supported?
We support Industrial Design, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Animation, and Product Design. More disciplines may be added based on community feedback.
Can I choose who I meet with?
You can set preferences (same language, same region, same discipline), but you cannot choose specific people. This is intentional—serendipity leads to the best connections!
What languages are supported?
Currently, Meetlo supports English, Chinese (Traditional), and Japanese. More languages will be added based on demand.
How do I report inappropriate behavior?
After each meetup, you can rate participants and report any issues. We take reports seriously and will take action against users who violate our community guidelines.
